Jump on board with The SeaChange Agents for Paddle Board Cleanup in Marina Del Rey. Armed with trash buckets and nets, we will paddle to an area where trash is known to collect in the marina and get to work cleaning. No experience is needed. Each participant will get a lesson in paddling and have time to feel comfortable balancing on the board. All the trash collected will be sorted and documented.

The Dakuwaqa Project is an initiative created in celebration of Rob and named after the Fijian shark god ‘Dakuwaqa’, the protector of all ocean creatures. In 2018, the project has pledged to produce a minimum of 5 mural activations with educational programming around the world to engage a global audience in taking action towards saving the seas. Having completed 3 murals in Miami, New Zealand and Toronto in 2017, LA will be the first of the year long campaign. Following LA, The Dakuwaqa Project is planning activations in locations key to Rob’s work such as NYC, Sydney, Grenada and Vancouver and is seeking support in the form of sponsorship, in-kind/charitable donations and media partnerships in order to keep the celebrated activist’s message alive.

Help save the sharks by spreading the word!
In the true-life documentary Sharkwater, director and biologist Rob Stewart sets out on a journey through 15 countries over five years, documenting the plight of our oceans through the eyes of one of the world’s most misunderstood creatures, the shark.
As species of sharks are becoming extinct due to poaching, you can do your part by telling your friends to see Sharkwater and pass on the message that sharks are not man-eating monsters and need our help!
Save the sharks, save the world.
You can help by seeing Sharkwater and spreading the word.
