All other life is dependent upon sharks to keep the balance of the oceanic ecosystem intact, and able to produce the vast majority of the oxygen that all living things need to survive.
Our focus is to bring humanity together through inspiration and activation, to spread the message like wildfire, empowering individuals to make change, and continue the mission instigated by Rob Stewart, and kept alive by Brock Cahill and The SeaChange Agency.
Sharks Are Wildlife, Costa Rica
Costa Rican leaders through global advertising eco-tourism marketing, and international conventions, promote their country as a Green Zone, and a marine conservation nation. Conversely, this publicizing is extremely and internationally fictitious. Although sharks are critically endangered, Costa Rica has covertly overlooked their country’s promised protection of sharks. Presently, Costa Rica does not consider sharks as wildlife, they are instead classified as agricultural product, affording them zero protection.
Costa Rica has intentionally bypassed the U.S. Endangered Species Act along with their commitment voiced during international treaty of endangered species conventions. Costa Rica continues illegal fishing activities, intentionally killing listed endangered shark species, along with other critically endangered oceanic wildlife.
SharkSquad will utilize our marine scientific relationships, legal partners, and with the inspiration of our cinematic activism, overturn Costa Rican fishery laws and protect sharks as wildlife.

Mission: 2023 and Beyond Continued:
We aim to change policy that will protect Sharks, classifying sharks as “Wildlife” in Costa Rica. The policy transformation will create necessary protection and provide a blueprint for the countries located in the Northeast Tropical Pacific to follow. SharkSquad will use this “blueprint” to build the unification of Costa Rica, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and their respective swimways, which require collaboration between four countries.
