Our work with Sharkwater continues to produce positive global change.

As a follow-up to the ground-breaking shifts instigated by “Sharkwater”, “Sharkwater Extinction” reveals the multi-billion-dollar illegal shark-finning and shark-fishing industry that is continuing unchecked. Even with the policy changes, and the recent giant strides forward, millions upon millions of undocumented sharks are killed every year and end up in cosmetics, pet food, fertilizer, fishmeal, and mislabeled packaging for human consumption. The film highlights these destructive habits and provides a blueprint towards a positive change for our oceans.
